Not a big story in a game in Terrigal where 7th ranked Crusaders (3-5) were defeated by second ranked Sydney City Comets (7-1) 73-68 on Sunday. Crusaders trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 24-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-73 at the end of the game. Sydney City Comets dominated on the defensive end, holding Crusaders to just 7 points in second quarter. Sydney City Comets forced 19 Crusaders turnovers. Crusaders were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized American guard Indiana Faithfull (193-91, college: W.Liberty St.) stepped up and scored 24 points and 4 steals for the winners and power forward Tom Dawson (197) chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Mitchell Rueter (198, college: Cent.Arkansas) with 23 points and 5 rebounds and forward James Trustum (192) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
