There was no surprise in Comodoro R. where 5th ranked GECR Indalo (26-26) was defeated by first ranked San Martin Corrientes (38-15) 93-85 on Tuesday. GECR Indalo trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 25-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 85-93 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for San Martin Corrientes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90, agency: DTMones) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds and international Leonardo Mainoldi (203-85) who added 21 points during the contest. San Martin Corrientes' coach Sebastian Gonzalez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Nicolas De-los-Santos (180-88) with 26 points and 5 assists and center Diego Romero (206-82, college: Florida St.) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five San Martin Corrientes and four GECR Indalo players scored in double figures. San Martin Corrientes maintains first position with 38-15 record. Loser GECR Indalo keeps the fifth place with 26 games lost. San Martin Corrientes will face league's second-placed Estudiantes C. in Concordia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. GECR Indalo will play at home against Quilmes MP and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
