Turk Telekom gunned down Sakarya to avoid elimination. Turk Telekom made 29-of-34 free shots (85.3 percent) during the game, while Sakarya BSB only scored ten points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) who scored 28 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Ahmet Cantitiz (193-92) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Lazeric Jones (182-90, college: UCLA) who recorded 23 points and the other American import center Charles Jackson (208-93, college: Tenn Tech) added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
