Regular Season Round 30: Strasbourg - Nanterre 65-74

The most interesting game of round 30 was a home defeat of 4th ranked Strasbourg IG (20-10) to third ranked JSF Nanterre (21-9) 74-65 in the game for the third place. It ended the ten-game winning streak of Strasbourg IG. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 9 points. The best for the losing side was American-FYR Macedonian Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron) with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Polish point guard AJ Slaughter (191-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: BeoBasket) scored 11 points. Strasbourg IG's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. JSF Nanterre have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 21-9 record having six points less than leader Monaco. Strasbourg IG at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. JSF Nanterre are looking forward to face Limoges CSP Elite (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
