Fenerbahce outgunned Galatasaray to take 2-0 lead in the series. Fenerbahce dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Galatasaray's 40. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American power forward Candace Parker (193-86, college: Tennessee) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) contributed with 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners. Senegalese power forward Astou Traore (182-81, agency: ProDep Management) replied with 22 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American point guard Moriah Jefferson (170-94, college: Connecticut) added 16 points and 5 assists in the effort for Galatasaray. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
