Date: May 3, 2017
ProA top team - Monaco (27-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked Paris-Levallois (19-11) 91-85. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Paris-Levallois. Monaco forced 19 Paris-Levallois turnovers. Paris-Levallois was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Brandon Davies (208-91, college: BYU, agency: BeoBasket) notched 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American-Bulgarian point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 16 points and 5 assists. Monaco's coach Zvezdan Mitrovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds by the former international power forward Louis Labeyrie (209-92) did not help to save the game for Paris-Levallois. The former international center Vincent Poirier (210-93) added 15 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Monaco have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 27-3 record. Paris-Levallois at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Monaco will play against JDA Dijon (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Paris-Levallois will play against Le Portel (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
