Regular Season Round 23: Los Mochis - Guasave 72-84

Another interesting game for Frayles de Guasave (10-12) which played on the court of Pioneros Los Mochis (9-13). Fifth ranked Frayles de Guasave had an easy win 84-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pioneros Los Mochis. It was a great shooting night for Frayles de Guasave especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. It was a great evening for American forward Sammy Yeager (193-89, college: CS Fullerton) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Gary Mondragon (-91) helped adding 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Frayles de Guasave players scored in double figures. American forward Cameron Forte (201-93, college: Portland St.) responded with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Nick Murphy (193-88, college: Jacksonville St.) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Frayles de Guasave maintains fifth place with 10-12 record, which they share with Mazatlan. Pioneros Los Mochis at the other side keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Navolato. Frayles de Guasave will play against Lobos UAD Mazatlan (#6) at home in the next round. Pioneros Los Mochis will play against Ostioneros de Guaymas and hope to get back on the winning track.
