Very expected game in Comodoro R. where 9th ranked Atenas (20-30) was crushed by fifth ranked GECR Indalo (26-26) 99-79 on Thursday. The game without a history. GECR Indalo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. GECR Indalo outrebounded Atenas 44-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Atenas' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican center Eloy Vargas (211-88, college: Kentucky, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 21 rebounds and the former international point guard Nicolas De-los-Santos (180-88) who added 17 points and 8 assists during the contest. Five GECR Indalo players scored in double figures. GECR Indalo's coach Gonzalo Garcia used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Bruno Labaque (178-77, agency: Interperformances) with 30 points and 4 assists and forward Lisandro Rasio (198-90, agency: Pro Sports) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds.
