Regular Season Round 31: Blois - Bourg 75-85

Leader JL Bourg delivered the twenty third win on Friday night. This time they beat 5th ranked ADA Blois (16-15) 85-75. The game was mostly controlled by JL Bourg. ADA Blois managed to win fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JL Bourg looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by ADA Blois' players. American point guard Garrett Sim (188-90, college: Oregon) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 assists for the winners. His fellow American import center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. JL Bourg's coach Savo Vucevic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. British-Ghanian center Eric Boateng (208-85, college: Arizona St.) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Benjamin Monclar (191-88) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. JL Bourg (23-8) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place. ADA Blois at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Nantes and Evreux. JL Bourg are looking forward to face Denain Voltaire (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. ADA Blois will play against Aix-Maurienne (#16) in Aix-les-Bains and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
