Not a big story in a game in Comodoro R. where 7th ranked Quilmes MP (26-29) was outplayed by fifth ranked GECR Indalo (27-27) 83-59 on Saturday. GECR Indalo dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Quilmes MP's 30. Dominican center Eloy Vargas (211-88, college: Kentucky, agency: Duran International) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Nicolas De-los-Santos (180-88) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Four GECR Indalo players scored in double figures. International guard Luca Vildoza (190-95) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and Enzo Ruiz (193-88, agency: DTMones) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Quilmes MP's coach Javier Bianchelli gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. GECR Indalo maintains fifth place with 27-27 record. Loser Quilmes MP keeps the seventh position with 29 games lost. GECR Indalo will face Boca Juniors (#10) in Buenos Aires in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
