Quarter-Finals Round 1: Brose Bask. - Telekom Bsk 92-93

Date: May 6, 2017
Telekom Baskets shocked Brose Baskets in Bamberg in Game 1. Telekom Baskets made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. American point guard Josh Mayo (181-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) nailed 25 points and 9 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Ken Horton (199-89, college: Cent.Conn.St.) accounted for 17 points and 12 rebounds. Italian Nicolo Melli (205-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and international Daniel Theis (204-92, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Brose Baskets in the defeat. Four Telekom Baskets and five Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. Brose Baskets' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
