Regular Season Round 2: Berazategui - Hindu 82-48

Date: May 6, 2017
No shocking result in a game in Buenos Aires where Berazategui (3-1) smashed Hindu (0-2) 82-48 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Berazategui. Hindu was better in second period 12-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Hindu to just 6 points in third quarter. Berazategui forced 25 Hindu turnovers and outrebounded them 47-34 including a 37-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Spanish point guard Ana Suarez (170-87, agency: ProDep Management) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. International center Celia Fiorotto (184-92) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Berazategui players scored in double figures. Spanish swingman Irene Gari (185-94, college: Georgia Tech, agency: ProDep Management) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds and J Ogunnorim added 11 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Berazategui's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Buenos Aires Obras Basket.
