Very important is a home loss of third ranked Baskonia (21-9) against fifth ranked Unicaja Malaga (20-10) on Sunday night. Host Baskonia was defeated by Unicaja Malaga in a tough game in Vitoria 75-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Baskonia. Unicaja Malaga maintains fifth position with 20-10 record, which they share with Iberostar Tener. Baskonia at the other side keeps the third place with nine games lost. They share the position with FC Barcelona. Unicaja Malaga will play against UCAM Murcia (#10) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
