Very important is a road loss of second ranked Valencia Basket (22-8) against eighth ranked Andorra (16-14) on Sunday night. Visiting Valencia Basket was defeated by Andorra in a tough game in Andorra 84-89. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Valencia Basket. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-84. Andorra dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Valencia Basket's 32. The winners were led by Georgian center Giorgi Shermadini (217-89) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and American guard David Walker (197-93, college: Northeastern) supported him with 23 points.
