There was no surprise when 6th ranked Yokohama BC (16-44) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Niigata Albirex (27-33) 83-74 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Clint Chapman (208-89, college: Texas, agency: Babcock Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import Davante Gardner (203-91, college: Marquette) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds and American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (210-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Niigata Albirex maintains fourth position with 27-33 record, which they share with Nagoya DD.
