There was a small surprise in Torino where twelfth ranked Auxilium TO (13-17) beat 10th ranked Openjobmetis VA (13-17) 89-76 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Auxilium TO. Openjobmetis VA was better in third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Openjobmetis VA 37-24 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Jamil Wilson (201-90, college: Marquette) scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international point guard Giuseppe Poeta (191-85) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Five Auxilium TO players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Dominique Johnson (192-87, college: Azusa Pacific, agency: Higher Vision Sports) with 16 points and American-Antiguan forward Norvel Pelle (208-93, college: Iona) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Auxilium TO moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Openjobmetis V. and Brescia.
