Finals Game 5: Dnipro - Cherkasy 92-75

Dnipro celebrated Superleague Bronze medals. They overcame Cherkasy in the decisive fifth game of the consolation finals. The game was mostly controlled by Dnipro. Cherkasy managed to win third quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dnipro dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Cherkasy's 20. They outrebounded Cherkasy 35-23 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dnipro shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. International Olexandr Mishula (192-92) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Stacy Davis (198-94, college: Pepperdine) answered with 25 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Igor Boyarkin (182-95) added 6 points and 8 assists in the effort for Cherkasy. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
