Seventeenth-ranked Entente Orleans 45 (8-24) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked Strasbourg IG (22-10). Strasbourg IG managed to secure only three-point victory 92-89. However their fans expected much easier game. Strasbourg IG forced 26 Entente Orleans 45 turnovers. Entente Orleans 45 was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American-FYR Macedonian Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard Erving Walker (173-90, college: Florida, agency: Two Points) who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. American swingman JP Prince (203-87, college: Tennessee) responded with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and naturalized Senegalese forward Antoine Mendy (198-83) scored 20 points. Five Strasbourg IG and four Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. Entente Orleans 45's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Strasbourg IG moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Entente Orleans 45 lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 24 games lost. Strasbourg IG will play against Le Portel (#7) on the road in the next round. Entente Orleans 45 will play against JDA Dijon (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
