Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Lille Metropole (19-13) won against at home 6th ranked Poitiers (17-15) 73-68 on Tuesday. Poitiers trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 26-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-73 at the end of the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lille Metropole made 7 blocks. Cameroonian center Junior MBida (204-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Bulgarian Pavel Marinov (199-88, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 14 points for the winners.
