They also forced 20 Eagles turnovers. American forward Vincent Zollo (206-92, college: Cleveland St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Dexter Kernich-Drew (201-91, college: Washington St.) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners. Swingman Drew Williamson (196-83, college: Metro St.) answered with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and American center Kevin Davis (206-91, college: Cent.Washington) added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Eagles. Flames moved-up to eleventh place in League. Loser Eagles dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Flames will face higher ranked Hawks (#8) in Floreat in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
