Rather expected game when 14th ranked Magic (1-9) lost to twelfth ranked Flames (4-8) in Mandurah 93-97 on Saturday. Magic was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. Forward Donovon Jack (206-93, college: Penn St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Vincent Zollo (206-92, college: Cleveland St.) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Flames players scored in double figures. Flames' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Will McNeill (185-90, college: Washburn) answered with 25 points and swingman Ricky Kreklow (201-92, college: Creighton) added 23 points and 6 steals in the effort for Magic. Flames moved-up to eleventh place in League. Loser Magic keeps the fourteenth position with nine games lost. Flames will face higher ranked Hawks (#8) in Floreat in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
