Not a big story in a game in Santoago de Comp where 13th ranked Blusens Monbus (11-21) was defeated by sixth ranked FC Barcelona (22-10) 76-71 on Sunday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-13. But Blusens Monbus won second period 21-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Montenegrin point guard Tyrese Rice (185-87, college: Boston Coll.) fired 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized American point guard Brad Oleson (191-83, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Duran International) chipped in 15 points. American point guard Mickey McConnell (182-89, college: St.Mary's, CA) produced 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and center Nacho Llovet (202-91) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. FC Barcelona moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Unicaja and Iberostar Tener. Blusens Monbus at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 21 games lost.
