Quarter-Finals Round 4: CAB Madeira - Benfica 72-86

Date: May 14, 2017
Benfica topped CAB Madeira to seal their semifinal appearance. The winners were led by naturalized Angolan guard Carlos Morais (200-85, agency: Duran International) who scored that evening 22 points and 8 rebounds and international point guard Tomas Barroso (184-90, agency: Dynamics Global Management) supported him with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Benfica players scored in double figures. Benfica's coach Carlos Lisboa allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 23 points and 6 rebounds by the former international swingman Fabio Lima (198-88) did not help to save the game for CAB Madeira. American guard Alex Marzette (196-93, college: Robert Morris, agency: Inception Sports) added 20 points and 5 rebounds for lost side.
