There was no surprise when 6th ranked Paris-Levallois (20-14) was defeated on the road by third ranked JSF Nanterre (25-9) 90-81 on Tuesday. The game without a history. JSF Nanterre led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Paris-Levallois was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Brian Conklin (198-89, college: St.Louis) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. The other American import point guard Chris Warren (178-88, college: Mississippi) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. Four JSF Nanterre players scored in double figures. The former international center Vincent Poirier (210-93) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Jason Rich (191-86) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. JSF Nanterre have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 25-9 record having five points less than leader Monaco. Loser Paris-Levallois keeps the sixth place with 14 games lost.
