Regular Season Round 34: Boulazac - Evreux 68-75

We should mention about the upset which took place in Boulazac, where higher ranked Boulazac Basket (19-15) lost at home to tenth ranked ALM Evreux (18-16) 68-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Boulazac Basket. It looked good early as Boulazac Basket took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then ALM Evreux had a 25-20 second period charge getting the lead and Boulazac Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-75. Strangely Boulazac Basket outrebounded ALM Evreux 39-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) notched 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 22 points and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds by American power forward Jarvis Williams (198-93, college: Murray St.) did not help to save the game for Boulazac Basket. Naturalized Central African power forward Maxime Zianveni (198-79) added 10 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Four Boulazac Basket players scored in double figures. Boulazac Basket's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. ALM Evreux moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Nantes and Le Havre. Boulazac Basket at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 15 games lost.
