Regular Season Round 4: Brisas - Sergio Ceppi 63-40

Bottom-ranked Sergio Ceppi (0-4) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked Brisas (3-1) 63-40 on Saturday evening. Brisas dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Sergio Ceppi's 22. Power forward Sascha Frings (202-86) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Camilo Ramirez (-90) chipped in 8 points. Elias Donoso (-86) produced 19 points and 9 rebounds and Jose Parra (-91) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brisas moved-up to second place, which they share with Sportiva Italiana and Liceo Curico. Loser Sergio Ceppi still closes the standings with four games lost. Brisas will meet at home Sportiva Italiana (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sergio Ceppi will play against the league's second-placed Liceo Curico (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
