Regular Season Round 4: Aleman - Arturo Prat 79-74

Aleman has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Arturo Prat (1-3) 79-74. They outrebounded Arturo Prat 35-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Aleman especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by Francisco Garrido (-88) who scored that evening 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Marko Castro (192-88) supported him with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Aleman's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 26 points and 5 rebounds by the former international Ramiro Galvez (-96) did not help to save the game for Arturo Prat. Guard Paulo Andrade (174-93) added 19 points and 7 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aleman left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Arturo Prat and Stadio Italiano. Aleman will play against Stadio Italiano (#7) in Santiago in the next round. Arturo Prat will play at home against the league's leader Puente Alto to get more than just one victory in their record.
