Everything could happen in Rockhampton at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Cyclones and 7th ranked Flames had identical 2-2 record. This time Cyclones used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Townsville 89-78 on Saturday night. Cyclones made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for the former international center Abby Bishop (189-88) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds. Cyclones (3-2) moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser Flames dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Cyclones will face league's leader Meteorettes in Mackay in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Flames will play at home against Force (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
