Regular Season Round 11: Hills H. - Norths Bears 43-77

Very expected game in Baulkham Hills where 8th ranked Hills Hornets (1-7) were crushed by third ranked North Bears (6-1) 77-43 on Saturday. North Bears forced 26 Hills Hornets turnovers and outrebounded them 53-37 including 20 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for guard Kate Seebohm (170-91, college: California, PA) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals. American guard Kallie Hovatter (175-89, college: Elon) helped adding 16 points. North Bears' coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Brittany Ridlen responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Madison Hare scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. North Bears maintains third place in League with 6-1 record having nine points less than leader Kilsyth LC. Loser Hills Hornets keep the eighth position with seven games lost. North Bears will face Sharks (#4) in Sutherland in the next round. Hills Hornets will play on the road against Hunters (#7) in Newcastle and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
