Undefeated Puente Alto (4-1) recorded its first loss in San Felipe on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Arturo Prat (2-3) 68-63. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Puente Alto. Arturo Prat forced 20 Puente Alto turnovers. 33 personal fouls committed by Puente Alto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Boris Guerra (-87) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Paulo Andrade (174-93) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Francisco Pena (187-89) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and Exequiel Munoz added 11 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Arturo Prat maintains fifth place with 2-3 record, which they share with Aleman. Puente Alto at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Sportiva Italiana and Liceo Curico. Arturo Prat is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Sergio Ceppi (#8) in the next round.
