Semi-Finals Game 3: Vitoria SC - FC Porto 70-95

Date: May 27, 2017
FC Porto cruised past Vitoria SC on the road to sweep the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by FC Porto Ferpinta. Vitoria SC managed to win fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. FC Porto Ferpinta dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Vitoria SC's 26. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Jose Silva (194-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points. Serbian power forward Sasa Borovnjak (206-89, college: Penn St., agency: 011 Sports) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four FC Porto Ferpinta players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Andrew Ferry (190-90, college: Cornell) with 20 points and 6 assists and the former international point guard Pedro Pinto (188-88) scored 14 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
