Regular Season Round 6: OSK - Hitech 80-129

Second ranked Hitech blasted bottom-ranked OSK (0-6) in 129-80 on Sunday evening. OSK is still unable to win any game. The game without a history. Hitech led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to OSK's 48. Hitech forced 24 OSK turnovers and outrebounded them 53-32 including a 44-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by OSK's players. American guard Avery Scharer (188-86, college: Shoreline CC) had a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Daniel Orton (208-90, college: Kentucky) chipped in 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Scharer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Hitech players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Kevin Hill (201-92, college: New Orleans) with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds and Filipino forward Jan Jamon (191) scored 26 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hitech (5-1) used an opportunity after Mono Vampire lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser OSK still closes the standings with six games lost. Hitech will meet at home Mad Goat (#5) in the next round. OSK will play against TGE and hopes to get finally their first victory.
