Very predictable result in Mill Park where third ranked Eltham Wildcats (9-3) smashed 12th ranked Whittlesea City (1-12) 116-85 on Sunday. Eltham Wildcats made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Whittlesea City turnovers and had a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Benjamin Waldren stepped up and scored 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Jordan Canovan chipped in 24 points. Four Eltham Wildcats players scored in double figures. Eltham Wildcats' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Jonathan Maybank responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and Dominic Bruno scored 24 points. Eltham Wildcats maintains third place in League with 9-3 record having just eleven point less than leader Mackay M. Loser Whittlesea City keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost.
