An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ciudad Obregon. Second ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon faced 4th ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas. Host Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (24-11) smashed guests from Guaymas (18-17) 114-95. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 24-11 record having just one point less than leader Hermosillo. Ostioneros de Guaymas at the other side keep the fourth place with 17 games lost. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon are again looking forward to face Ostioneros de Guaymas (#4) at home in the next round.
