Regular Season Round 6: Fast Break - Condores 91-64

Date: May 31, 2017
The most important game in the last round took place in Bogota between second ranked Condores (3-3) and fourth ranked Fast Break (3-1) on Wednesday night. Condores were crushed by Fast Break on the road 91-64. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valparaiso) who scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Michael Sneed (196-82, college: Texas Southern) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Sneed is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Luis Almanza (196-91) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Lamar Roberson (203-86, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Haylett Sports) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fast Break moved-up to second place. Condores at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Sabios. Fast Break are looking forward to face Patriotas (#7) in Boyaca in the next round where they are favorite. Condores will play on the road against Caciques (#5) in Valleduparnga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
