Finals Game 4: Lietkabelis - Zalgiris 59-72

Zalgiris dropped Lietkabelis on the road to open 3-1 advantage in the championship series. It looked good early as Lietkabelis took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Zalgiris had a 23-14 second period charge getting the lead and Lietkabelis was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 59-72. Zalgiris dominated on the defensive end, holding Lietkabelis to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 19 Lietkabelis turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Lukas Lekavicius (180-94) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 assists and Australian power forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: Washington St.) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Mindaugas Lukauskis (198-79) responded with 14 points and 4 assists and the former international center Ksistof Lavrinovic (209-79) scored 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
