Brose Baskets outgunned EWE Baskets on the road to take 2-0 lead in the Finals. Brose Baskets shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. French Fabien Causeur (195-87) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Italian Nicolo Melli (205-91) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) during the contest. Four Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. Brose Baskets' coach Andrea Trinchieri used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Brian Qvale (210-88, college: Montana) responded with 19 points and his fellow American import swingman Rickey Paulding (196-82, college: Missouri) scored 18 points and 4 assists.
