Regular Season Round 7: KIU Titans - Our Saviour 70-55

Undefeated leader KIU Titans delivered the fourth consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they beat bottom-ranked Our Saviour (0-3) 70-55 in Kampala. They outrebounded Our Saviour 42-29 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a great shooting night for KIU Titans especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Ethienne Kazungu (-80) fired 8 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Tanzanian guard Sudi Ulanga (181-88) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Center Daniel Monoja produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Steven Mwesigye added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KIU Titans have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-0 record. Our Saviour at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
