Finals Game 3: Benfica - FC Porto 87-57

Benfica are crowned LPB champions. They stormed past FC Porto to sweep the title series. The game without a history. Benfica led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Benfica outrebounded FC Porto Ferpinta 38-23 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Raven Barber (206, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. American-Hungarian forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Inception Sports) helped adding 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Benfica players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Nick Washburn (208-91, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian power forward Sasa Borovnjak (206-89, college: Penn St., agency: 011 Sports) scored 17 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
