Regular Season Round 10: Sabios - Condores 89-67

The game with biggest result difference took place in Manizales. Local Sabios (6-4) outscored 7th ranked Condores (3-7) 89-67. The game without a history. Sabios led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Condores' players. Canadian guard Ashton Smith (187-89, college: Indiana, PA) notched 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Canadian guard Shamar Coombs (185-86, college: Texas A&M-CC) supported him with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Sabios players scored in double figures. Even 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by American point guard Ryan McCoy (183-87, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Haylett Sports) did not help to save the game for Condores. International forward Luis Almanza (196-91) added 13 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sabios maintains second position with 6-4 record behind leader Fast Break. Condores lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. Sabios' next round opponent will be Academia (#3) in Montana, which may be the game of the day. Condores will play at home against Cimarrones and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
