The game in Boyaca was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Caciques (6-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Patriotas (3-9). Caciques managed to secure a 5-point victory 80-75 on Wednesday. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was guard Mark Cornelius (190-88, college: Mass.-Lowell) who scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Anthony Gurley (190-88, college: Massachusetts) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Robert Crawford (201-90, college: Cent.Arkansas) who recorded 30 points and 9 rebounds and forward Antonio Bivins (198-92, college: Mass.-Lowell) added 20 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Patriotas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Caciques moved-up to third place. Patriotas lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Piratas. Caciques will meet league's second-placed Academia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Patriotas will play against Sabios (#4) in Manizales and hope to secure a win.
