Fenerbahce repeated as BSL champions. They topped Besiktas in overtime to capture the trophy. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 25-20 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 4-point victory in overtime. Fenerbahce made 29-of-38 free shots (76.3 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fenerbahce made 9 blocks. Besiktas was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) chipped in 23 points and 9 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Fenerbahce's coach Zeljko Obradovic used entire bench in such tough game. The former international point guard Kenan Sipahi (197-95) produced 22 points and 5 assists and American guard DJ Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
