Everything went according to plan when second ranked Tornadoes (8-4) defeated on the road 5th ranked BA CoE (6-3) 62-55 on Friday. Tornadoes had a 36-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Lauren Mansfield (170-89, college: Iowa St., agency: ProDep Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Tayla Roberts (191-93) contributed with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Power forward Eziyoda Magbegor (176-99) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Maddison Rocci (167-98) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BA CoE. Despite that victory Tornadoes went down to third position (League) due to points difference. Loser BA CoE keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
