Rangers outrebounded Spectres 40-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international center Lauren Scherf (195-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 18 rebounds. Guard Aimie Clydesdale (177-93) contributed with 9 points and 10 assists for the winners. American guard Anita Brown (173, college: Akron) replied with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Marena Whittle (180-94, college: N.Dakota St.) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Spectres. Four Spectres players scored in double figures. Rangers maintains second position in League with 7-3 record behind leader Logan T. Loser Spectres keep the third place with seven games lost. Rangers will have a break next round. Spectres will play on the road against Sabres in Cheltenham and hope to win that game.
