Rather expected game when 8th ranked Woodville Warriors (4-7) were smashed by fifth ranked West Adelaide Bearcats (7-4) in Flinders Park 82-62 on Saturday. West Adelaide Bearcats dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Woodville Warriors' 42. It was a very good performance for American guard Dee Oldham (193-94, college: Chattanooga) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import forward Harold Ridgeway (203, college: Midland) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Luke Stanbridge (192-90) replied with 19 points and 6 rebounds and guard Darren Ng (189-83) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Woodville Warriors. Woodville Warriors' coach tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. West Adelaide Bearcats moved-up to third place in League. Loser Woodville Warriors keep the eighth position with seven games lost. West Adelaide Bearcats will face Sturt Sabres (#5) in Pasadena in the next round. Woodville Warriors will play at home against Noarlunga City Southern Tigers and hope to win that game.
