Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked NW Tasmania Thunder (7-8) defeated 7th ranked Canberra Gunners (1-13) in Belconnen 79-62 on Saturday. NW Tasmania Thunder had a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for guard Daniel Sepokas (190-90, college: Lees-McRae) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Jeremiah Ingram (201-93, college: N.C.Central) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five NW Tasmania Thunder players scored in double figures.
