Regular Season Round 6: Capitol - Sayago 74-81

There was no surprise in Montevideo where 9th ranked Capitol (2-4) was defeated by third ranked Sayago (4-1) 81-74 on Wednesday. Sayago looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Capitol's players. The best player for the winners was American center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) who scored 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Rodrigo Brause (194-95) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Earl Watson (201-90, college: Rhode Island) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and Nicolas Comas added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five Capitol players scored in double figures. Sayago have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Loser Capitol dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Sayago will face Miramar (#3) in Montevideo in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Capitol's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Marne.
