Regular Season Round 7: Sayago - Miramar 93-78

An interesting game for Sayago (5-1) which hosted in Sayago 3rd placed Miramar (4-3). Second ranked Sayago had an easy win 93-78. The game was mostly controlled by Sayago. Miramar was better in second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sayago forced 19 Miramar turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for American center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Martin Perdomo (181-95) helped adding 24 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Sayago players scored in double figures. Sayago's coach Horacio Perdomo used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American power forward Jeffrey Fahnbulleh (200-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds and guard Matias Nicoletti (193-94) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Sayago have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-1 record behind leader Atenas. Miramar at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with 25 de Agosto.
