Regular Season Round 15: Willetton T. - Rockingham CF 78-55

Everything went according to plan in Willeton where sixth ranked Tigers (9-7) outscored 11th ranked Flames (4-14) 78-55 on Saturday. Tigers forced 20 Flames turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for guard Stacey Barr (173-92, college: Idaho) who led her team to a victory scoring 31 points and 5 rebounds. German power forward Jessica Hootmann (190-85) helped adding 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and Dena English scored 13 points and 6 assists. Flames' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Tigers moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser Flames keep the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Tigers will face Suns (#9) in Kalamunda in the next round. Flames will play on the road against Slammers in Bunbury and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
