Regular Season Round 15: SW Slammers - Kalamunda E.S. 77-83
Date: June 24, 2017
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Bunbury where tenth ranked Suns (5-12) won against 9th ranked Slammers (4-12) 83-77 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American center Devanny King (185, college: Georgetown, KY) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Power forward Jennie Rintala (-90) helped adding 23 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Courtney Bayliss (183-93, college: Our Lady Lake) with 22 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Brittany Hodges (185-93, college: Furman) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Suns moved-up to ninth place in League. Loser Slammers dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost.
